The media center/learning center at Long County High School includes over 4000 titles, digital cameras, digital camcorders, iPads, Chromebooks, and computers for Internet research.
​
Media Specialists work with the teachers to create collaborative lessons to reinforce curriculum, teach research and information technology skills.
​
Hours
Monday-Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
​
Library Use
All students are welcome to come to the media center with a pass from their teacher. Ms. Strickland must be notified before sending students to verify that there is room in the media center at that time. Only 3 students per teacher are allowed to come.

Lunch
The media center is open during all lunch periods.
​
Book Checkout

Students may check out up to three books for two weeks.

Overdue fines are $.05 per day per book.
​
Computer Use

Computers are provided for student use in the media center. Classes have priority for computer use, but individual students can use them if they are available.

There is an Internet Acceptable Use Policy in the student agenda.

Printers are available for student printing. Cost is $ 0.10 per page for black and white and $ 0.25 per page for color.
